Currently serving as a Board Member and on the Parade Committee, Katherine remains committed to the HAV Mission of acknowledging and supporting our veterans in the healing and reintegration process of rejoining society.
“Recognizing that Veteran’s Day was established as the one day each year, we as a community have the opportunity to come together and publicly acknowledge and honor our veterans, we are firmly committed to the vision of creating one of the most recognized and celebrated Veteran’s Day Parades in the country. Phoenix and Maricopa County is home to a significant veteran population, we have a beautiful city, beautiful weather and an outstanding community of citizens anxious to support and recognize these amazing individuals who have given so much. No matter the extent of our time and contributions, it will never compare to what they have given US! We are very grateful for the many volunteers who have stepped up and given so much of themselves toward these efforts. We would not be where we are today, without them.”
