Honoring Arizona's Veterans
Robert Solecki is a Finance Analyst with Humana’s Senior Products supporting the Desert States, which encompass Arizona and Nevada. In this role, he oversees market revenue and analytics for Humana’s Medicare products.
Robert has more than 16 years of experience in marketing and finance. He joined Humana in 2011. Prior to joining Humana, he worked for Fry’s Food Stores as a Senior Loyalty Data Analyst. Robert is a Navy Veteran who served honorably on the USS Belleau Wood LHA-3 arduous sea duty in Sasebo, Japan. In October 1998, he deployed to provide support for Operations Desert Thunder and Southern Watch – the monitoring of the United Nation’s (UN) imposed no-fly zone over southern Iraq. In December 1998, he participated in Operation Desert Fox to support staging platform for combat Search and Rescue Operations in case an American or Coalition plane was shot down during the four-day operation intended to neutralize Iraq’s weapons of mass destruction program. In September 1999, he operated off Indonesia in response to a crisis in East Timor, providing heavy-life logistical support for the Australian-led UN Peace keeping mission.
Robert has a bachelor’s degree in information technology from Western International University. Robert has been the Point of Contact for Humana’s Veterans Network Resource Group in Arizona since 2013. In this volunteer role, Robert oversees and plans all volunteer activities related to veterans for Humana associates. Since 2014, he has led more than 60 associates a year to participate in the annual flag placement at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona. In 2014, Robert initiated a sponsorship with Honoring Arizona’s Veterans to support the annual Phoenix Veterans Day Parade. Since then, he has led a group of associates to march in the parade. Robert was recently elected to the board of directors for Honoring Arizona’s Veterans. Robert lives in Mesa, Arizona, and enjoys hiking, camping, traveling and volunteering his time to help support our veterans.
