Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Honoring Arizona Veterans and the Phoenix Veterans Day Parade!
The annual Phoenix Veterans Day Parade is an all-volunteer effort, requiring hundreds of willing hands to honor the contributions of our U.S. veterans and help build a patriotic Phoenix community spirit that recognizes the sacrifices veterans make for our country. If you feel you could help in some way, please click the link under the area that interests you. We couldn’t put on an event like this without our wonderful volunteers!

Volunteers are responsible for maintaining important parade staging points to distribute water, chairs, tents, tables, programs and escorting Grand Marshals or VIPS to their assigned parade entry or vehicle.
Judging and Hospitality
Volunteers are responsible for maintaining the show mobile judging area by ensuring that it is properly decorated, cooler is stocked with snacks/water, support judges, help media, and help to tally scores of each float to determine the winners in each category.
Volunteers will help support three enormous balloons (Uncle Sam, Eagle, and Purple Heart) to carry down the 2-mile parade route safely.
Parade Route Managers
Volunteers will be assigned to a float entry to help control the flow of the parade, communicate issues, and ensure the safety of entry participants along the entire parade route.
Staging / Check in
Volunteers will assist float entries during check-in by directing them to their designated staging area, communicate any concerns or questions to appropriate personnel, and ensure a steady pace as entries enter the parade route.
